Thermomorphs is a tactical duel of shape-shifting slimes, played on a beat.

Every beat you queue two actions: move, attack, cast, compress or relax. Your slime lives on two axes, temperature (cold to hot) and hardness (soft to hard), and its form follows: Slime, Water, Gas, Ice, Magma or Stone, plus rare critical forms such as Plasma, Fire Golem, Ice Block and Ghost. Each form moves, hits and defends differently, and each has its own form magic: Goo Spit, Douse, Gust, Blizzard, Lava, Beacon and Soul Steal.

Read your opponent, pick the right form for the moment and land the combo. Launch a Magma Meteor, ram with ice, leapfrog as water or teleport with a Stone Beacon.

Modes: 1v1 against the AI (Easy, Normal or Hard), Best of 3 where heat and hardness can carry over between rounds, 2v2 with an AI ally, and a four-slime free-for-all on a 10x10 arena with a closing ring of fire. You can also sit back and watch AI vs AI.

New here? A short interactive tutorial teaches every form and move in about three minutes, and you can skip or resume it any time.

Dress up your slime in the wardrobe: 100+ cosmetic items including skins, eyes, hats, trails, footsteps, emotes, victory poses, KO effects and sound packs, earned with goo from your matches. Cosmetics are purely visual and never change combat. A season pass with a free and a premium track (both unlocked with goo earned in matches, no real money) adds new rewards as you play.

Plays in the browser on desktop and mobile, keyboard or touch, in English, Russian and Portuguese (Brazil). No account needed.

Controls: Arrow keys move. Q attacks. W casts elemental magic. E compresses (harder), R relaxes (softer). W+E heats you up, W+R cools you down. Touch: on-screen arrow pad and action buttons.
